Wedding Portrait

I have seen this kind of image coming from a lot of wedding photographers lately... I do enjoy it! I have no idea why because it seems so random <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/g/g…" width="17" height="15" alt="" title="Giggle" /> Maybe that is why I enjoy it so much.

I enjoy the background of this image a lot because it enhances the subject rather than distracting from them, often wedding photo's have distracting backgrounds. I think the moment you start creating visually impacting wedding images with simplistic backgrounds, the greater you become!

Only nit about this image is the flat light... I can understand the time of day and weather aspects leading to the light being this way. I would have probably tried to punch it up a bit in post processing. My personal opinion of course.

Also I may have cropped this slightly differently, not to say your crop doesn't work... I can just visualize other ways to place them <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)" />
